Having introduced the overall framework of our journey in the previous reflection, we now step directly into the practical application of these spiritual mechanics.
Potential is identified as the foundational element in the principle of life, we must map out how it interacts with the elements that follow. But first, let us clearly define what we mean by the “elements of the principle of life.”
The elements of any system, body, or philosophy are the fundamental parts that comprise the whole. They represent the core components and the total power upon which a central truth stabilizes itself. Therefore, the elements of the principle of life are the cosmic powers, natural laws, and spiritual rules that govern our earthly existence.
As established in our initial blueprint, these five distinct phases guide our journey:
- Discovering your potential
- Nurturing your potential
- Launching your potential
- Living your dream
- Giving it back to society
Element 1: Discovering Your Potential (Recognizing the Inborn Force)
Suppose you are trying to determine whether you have truly uncovered your authentic purpose. True potential reveals itself through the habits, inclinations, and internal drives that you simply cannot escape. It is permanently woven into your fabric. You cannot avoid it, no matter how hard you try to suppress it.
This internal driving force can manifest in both positive and negative behaviors. It is that repetitive loop where, each time you vow to stop, you find yourself drawn right back to it. Consider the natural compulsion toward fixing broken things, or an overwhelming urge to care for others.
The Tell-Tale Signs of Inherent Potential
To identify your specific cutlass, ask yourself these searching questions:
- The Mediator: Do you naturally step into the middle of other people’s conflicts? Is it impossible for you to condone injustice and inequality? Will you even compromise your own immediate financial comfort or peace of mind just to ensure that harmony reigns?
- The Empath: Do you find yourself constantly listening to the heavy problems of neighbors and strangers, wishing desperately that you possessed the resources to solve them all?
- The Engineer: Do you love dismantling appliances, furniture, and tools, only to rebuild them from scratch just to discover the secret of how they operate?
All of these actions point to inborn abilities and realistic possibilities. They exist within you naturally. They remain entirely active, regardless of how hard you try to ignore them.
Channelling the Energy
Sometimes, this unrefined internal power displays itself as a disruptive or destructive behavior that you want to break free from. If that resonates with you, have you ever considered channeling that exact same raw energy in a positive direction?
Do you talk or write too much, just like me? Whatever it is that you find yourself doing entirely naturally, the thing you cannot fake because it is natively yours, that is your potential. You must accept it, acknowledge its presence, and intentionally begin to work on it.

Element 2: Nurturing Your Potential (The Season of the Sharpening Stone)
Once the tool is discovered, the crucial work of nurturing begins. Nurturing translates to tender care, deliberate training, and focused education. When you nurture a seed, you safeguard it because you want the absolute best expression of its life to emerge.
Recall the illustration of the mother who assigned her three daughters the heavy manual labor of cutting down trees. The third daughter used her first hour exclusively to sharpen her machete. Because of this strategic pause, her physical labor became relatively easier, smoother, and much quicker.
Therefore, nurturing is the conscious equipping and refining of an internal talent for its highest possible utility. Nurturing your potential serves you for an entire lifetime of purpose. When you possess a fully sharpened tool, you will never be stopped by obstacles, because you have developed what it takes to achieve your destiny.
Navigating the Paths of Refinement
How do you practically nurture this internal potential? The answer depends entirely on the nature of the gift itself. It is a modern misconception that one must obtain an advanced academic master’s degree simply to launch a natural gift.
Too often, we spend massive amounts of our hard-earned money and precious years sitting in classrooms, only to graduate, remain entirely idle, or work under individuals who are far less competent than ourselves.
Depending on the potency and type of your calling, traditional degrees can certainly provide assistance. However, we must categorize our approaches wisely:
- Technical and Practical Abilities: For hands-on capabilities that do not involve deep academic science, I highly encourage stepping into a practical workshop or securing an intensive apprenticeship.
- Professional and Scientific Fields: If your background requires highly professional expertise; such as law, medicine, or advanced scientific research, formal higher education remains completely crucial, even up to a PhD level. An early apprenticeship alongside these studies makes it much easier to begin nurturing your practical application ahead of time.
The Entertainment Paradox
When analysing entertainment potentials; such as acting, dancing, or singing. I generally do not encourage spending vast amounts of resources on formal university schooling. This creative force is already alive inside you.
If a talent is truly an organic part of your identity, and you feel genuinely happy doing it while desiring to earn a living from it, you do not need more education. Instead, you need immediate opportunity.
When you are fortunate enough to connect with established mentors in the creative field who are willing to guide you, you will be astounded by the hidden depths inside yourself that you have yet to explore.
The clear exception in the creative space is cinematography. This specific path requires crucial academic, technical, and mechanical training. Yet, even here, many exceptional cinematographers have never stepped inside the four corners of a media school, yet they perform at elite levels. Why? Because pure potential is a powerful engine on its own.
Conclusion: The Cost of a Blind Life
Not every potential requires a traditional academic stamp for development and growth. There are many profound callings that you can cultivate successfully without ever setting foot inside a college campus. Ultimately, what you require are the right people, the right environment, and the right alignment.
I want you to pause right now and think deeply: Have you truly discovered what you enjoy doing? Does this activity bring deep, unadulterated happiness to your soul?
If your honest answer is no, you are in danger of living another personโs life. To live a borrowed life is a tragic waste of the unique person you were divinely created to become.
If your goal is to remain a traditional employee until you reach retirement, standard paths may suffice. But if you desire to break free as an entrepreneur, discovery is mandatory.
Even a deep passion for caring for animals or cultivating crops is a magnificent potential from which people earn an excellent living. Those who are truly passionate about agricultural welfare often achieve immense fulfillment.
The humble farmer down the road, the one society so easily undermines, might achieve far more wealth, peace, and legacy in a few years than an executive does in a lifetime.
Stop waiting for a perfect season. Start equipping, sharpening, and nurturing your potential today. Seek out the precise individuals who will help you realize your ultimate design.
