The greed for power and dominance has obscured our sense of empathy, causing us to disregard the victims of our misdeeds, even when we have eliminated our targets. Will there be remnants of peace in our hearts, after destroying the peace in the world?

We often wish to rest in peace when we are gone, but we hardly live in peace when we are here, creating an atmosphere void of conflict and chaos. When are we going to sling conflict by peaceful means, so we can actually rest in peace when we leave this world?

We beat the drum of war and blow the trumpet of massacre, but we never ask in whose pool of blood we would perform our dance. What if we end up bathing in the blood of those whom posterity will bring us to their grave to regret our action of not granting them peace in this world?

In our quest for dominance and control, we turn parents childless, make children orphans, and partners single, while we go home to enjoy peace and cosiness with our family. May such peace become the terror that will haunt our conscience for inflicting pain and disaster in the world.

They say it’s a Month of March, but we were already marching into a New Month stained with the blood of the wicked, but littered with the skulls of the innocents, too. How can we drink the blood of the wicked from the skulls of the innocents, when we are not vampires in this world?

At the end, the innocent will be victorious when the wicked is put to shame, but only posterity will determine who was innocent and who was wicked. We can only count the damages of war, while hoping not to be among the damaged, but we will only hear with our ears and observe with our eyes.
