Success Is A Matter Of Proper Planning Coupled With A High Level Of Determination, Regardless Of The Delays Caused By Circumstances In The Execution Of Our Plans, Which May Be Due To A Lack Of Resources (Financial Or Otherwise)
Circumstances of life, most times, can leave one in doubt about one’s abilities.
Irrespective of the lack of finances or opportunities to execute one’s plans or thoughts to attain success, determination always keeps those plans moving forward, no matter how long it takes to execute them.
Executing plans can be daunting, especially when one doesn’t have all the requirements to launch the ideas and achieve a goal. But without determination and the ability to persevere, the conceived thoughts obliterate the mind.
When one finds oneself in a daunting situation that hinders a goal due to a lack of resources, one needs to apply the principles of determination and perseverance to keep those thoughts or dreams alive.
Nobody has all it takes to become somebody, except a person born with a silver spoon or who belongs to a well-to-do or wealthy background, and that averts suffering and makes greatness easily attainable.
Even some born with silver spoons strive to succeed in the execution of their plans and dreams, notwithstanding belonging to a wealthy background.
Many people possess all that is required in their mindset to achieve success or attain greatness, but owing to limited resources, they continuously backslide. Although success is not a do-or-die affair, it has value.
Starting from scratch to build a life is not always easy, which is one of the many reasons people give up on that route. They embark on the easier ones with side effects or after effects.
When it comes to success, determination is the continuous striving on the quest to succeed, irrespective of the daunting circumstances.
Like perseverance, determination is a virtue that needs development because they don’t just emerge. One ought to develop and use them as a weapon in the battle for success.
Determination is a very crucial and virtuous weapon, especially in a situation of limitations of resources, because that’s the only thing that can keep one going, regardless of how many times one meets disappointments on the way.
People will always disappoint or undermine you, more especially when you are starting from scratch; they can make you look inferior.
But being sure of your ambition is telling yourself ab initio that “I know this journey wouldn’t be an easy one, I know I’ll meet disappointments, I know only a few or none will believe in my dream, I know I’m alone on this mission, but I’m not giving up!”
Once you’ve digested the above words and made them your daily reminder, you’d never be discouraged when disappointments strike, as they will often do.
All you can do then is to smile and tell yourself that “I expected it”, even when you never expected to be disappointed.
Always see disappointments as the ability to carve more out of yourself. Disappointments often compel us to summon the courage to develop ourselves more.
It could be that fate wants the best out of you, and without disappointments, you wouldn’t know the spaces that need filling in your life.
So all you can do is look deep into every area of your life when disappointment strikes. Some people can disappoint you without knowing it because they don’t know what that dream means to you.
It takes determination to convince them. Some can turn you away, but when you keep developing each time it happens, someday they will realise you are the best that can fit into the available position.
And that’s because they’ve seen how much further you developed, notwithstanding how many times they turned you away.
Never think of giving up whenever disappointment strikes, but think of adding something to your offers. Perhaps what you offered was not good enough, and disappointments can make you add more value to it.
So don’t regard disappointments as a failure. You should never think you have failed each time you are disappointed.
See them as lessons, learn from them and know the areas you need to amend or nurture. Then launch into action again, which is ‘perseverance’, one of the greatest virtues.
As long as you keep striving without giving up, one day, disappointments will be a thing of the past, as everyone will tend to identify with you because they have realised that you have a unique potential to offer.
Only determination can keep one going regardless of ample disappointments.
